Diana Machado is the owner and Executive Director of Hale Laule'a, a boutique assisted-living home in lovely Hilo, Hawaii.  Diana is a Registered Nurse with over 15 years of experience caring for patients at the Hilo Medical Center, Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center and Hospice of Hilo.  Prior to nursing, she worked for the Hawaii Veteran Center for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and served in the United States Coast Guard during the Gulf War as a Bookkeeper, Forklift Operator, Firearm Coach, Boat Operator, Harbor Patrol Crewman and Search & Rescue Team Member.
